Have you prepared everything for the great Christmas days ahead? Christmas tree, Christmas decoration, meal plan, gifts, Christmas cards, groceries, wine and invitations? Christmas is always a busy time and people tend to do all the organisation last minute because at first they can't get into the spirit and then after they are too busy enjoying the spirit by doing ice skating, having Christmas parties or going to the Christmas market until they realise time is moving fast and it's a week to go until Christmas.

Trend colour grey: How much grey is too much?

All Pictures from Pinterest

The answer is: NEVER! Grey is such a flexible colour, just like black and white. Grey on grey is always nice looking and elegant and you mix it up with almost every colour.  It is a composition of white and black, so that grey can have different shades depending on how much white or black is used. If you wanna stay with grey shades, it is nice to mix up different fabrics just like leather, wool, faux fur, cotton, fleece or jersey, so that it won’t look boring. Even candles, a vase or other decoration will look nice in different shades of grey.
We collected some ideas for you guys for some inspiration for the trend colour grey!
Enjoy!

How to make your home office look nice!?

Pinterest
Being lucky of having a home office, you should really put an effort in it and appreciate it. Not everyone is that lucky to be able to work from home. The most important thing in a home office is probably the lightning. A lot of daylight or perfect light will make you feel awake and is good for your eyes so that you can be productive throughout the day.

The brighter the office, the better the mood! Bright colours and daylight have a good influence on your mood. A clean and simple office decoration is probably best to avoid distractions since it's a home office. I can imagine working from home can be difficult because there will be so many things that you could do besides actually working. You need to feel comfortable in your office, which requires a chair that you can possibly sit in all day, a desk, maybe a blanket in case you get cold and some nice pictures, pens and paper, your laptop or computer, a note board and mug and the office day can start! Just don't let it become too comfortable! You don't want to risk anything and end up on a sofa watching TV.
We collected some examples for you to get inspired of how to decorate your  home office.
Enjoy!

Black x White

Picture
A little black never hurt nobody... Or a little more! The darker season is approaching and everyone wants to get comfortable and cosy in their homes. To help redecorating, some new items matching to the season are a great idea! Black and white is timeless and can easily be redecorated by adding coloured items if you don't want it anymore at some point. If you have plain white or beige painted walls you basically can do everything with it.
The picture below is simple but classy decorated with a lot of black and shades of dark grey on white walls. Combined with a nice sofa of good material, an extravagant standing lamp and a playful carpet it doesn't make the room look boring at all! It is important to use different materials to mix it up and give the room a certain touch. For example, matching to the season knitted cushions and blankets would make the room look cosy.

And enjoy the Halloween weekend!

mydomaine

Chris McKimm, the director of the design and construction firm InForm own this beautiful mid-century home on southeast Melbourne on Mornington Peninsula. The beach house is full of clean lines modern black and white accents and rich woods, according to mydomaine. This home is a family retreat for a nice and comfortable time away.
The big family table is surrounded by black and white Eames chairs, which perfectly match to the contemporary interior decoration. The big windows allow daylight to lighten up the room for a nice atmosphere. All in all the home is kept quite simple with some eye-catchers such as flowers, coloured canvas and the Eames chairs.

Scroll down and enjoy the tour!
